Reopening
Le Muse theatre is a victory and great satisfaction for Ancona and for the Marche region.
Le Muse intends to be one of the most significant pivots on the national
and international theatrical circuit, bringing great productions to Europe.
Without being presumptuous, we are safe in the knowledge of being a
structurally and functionally avant-garde theatre, a large vessel housing great
events and great interpreters, with a modern management which we are building
the foundations for. We want Le Muse Theatre to have international
scope, and for this reason we are presenting it abroad, in London and in Munich
for example, cities that are well connected with Ancona.
To this end, we immediately thought of using an innovative communication tool
with no boundaries, namely MuseMagazine: an online
theatre magazine that can be consulted by anyone, at any time and offers
worldwide connections. Le Muse portal - now under construction - which
hosts it, will constitute an important part of the image and activities of the
new Le Muse which, after the hibernation of the past, is ready to
interact fully with the future.
With the reopening of Le Muse Theatre, the city
of Ancona will write a new important page in its millenary
history and thus conclude the chapter of "unfinished" works. Ancona has always had privileged relations with the other
shore of the Adriatic and has always been a meeting point for different ethnic
groups and cultures; by reopening Le Muse Theatre, Ancona
will recover its cultural identity.
Set in a region of Italy that holds the record for
historical theatres, with seventy two theatres in use throughout the region, Le
Muse will be at the service of the entire population of the Marche and beyond.
