The opera season is to be inaugurated on 6th November at the newly refurbished Le Muse theatre with a performance of Mozart’s “Idomeneo, re di Creta”, directed by Pier Luigi Pizzi. Gaetano Donizetti’s “Lucia di Lammermoor” will be staged on 26th November, under the Belgian director Gilbert Deflo. The season will conclude on 10th December with Giacomo Puccini’s “Madam Butterfly” directed by Renata Scotto.
